Mr. Rostron Duckworth

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in the coming treaty with China abandoning foreign territorial rights and privileges, provision will be made to ensure the maintenance of the pensions of those who have worked for so many years to build up trade and commerce in China?

If my hon. Friend is referring to employees of the foreign-controlled municipal areas in China, I will certainly bear the point in mind in the coming negotiations.
