§ Mr. MabaneSupplies of milk are available to pithead canteens on the same basis as other canteens. This supply is adequate for serving milk with hot beverages, but in the present supply position it is not, generally speaking, practicable to allocate milk for direct consumption to canteens which have not obtained it in the past.
