HC Deb 25 November 1942 vol 385 c740W
Mr. R. C. Morrison

asked the Home Secretary whether he will suspend, for the duration of the war, the regulation under the Cremation Act which makes it compulsory to sign a form in the presence of a justice of the peace or commissioner of oaths in view of the great inconvenience caused to relatives?

Mr. H. Morrison

I am not aware of any serious inconvenience arising from the requirement in the cremation regulations to which my hon. Friend refers but if he will send me any information in his possession I will see that it is considered.
