Miss Wardasked the Minister of Health whether the proposals he has submitted to employers and employed for the future distribution of nurses have been accepted?
§ Mr. E. BrownI am awaiting replies from some of the organisations whom I have consulted on this Question.
Miss Wardasked the Minister of Health on what date the Rushcliffe Committee on nurses salaries was set up; how many meetings have been held; and when its report is to be presented?
§ Mr. BrownThe last nominations for the committee were received early in November, 1941. I understand there have been approximately eight meetings of the full committee, 15 meetings of the employers panel only and 12 meetings of518W the nurses panel only. Many of the meetings have extended over more than one day. As regards the last part of the Question, I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply given to the hon. Member for Rugby (Mr. Brown) on 10th November.
