asked the Minister of Fuel and Power the output of saleable coal for the week ending 7th November, 1942, and for the corresponding week in 1941; the number of persons employed; and the average number of days worked per, person in the two weeks, respectively?

asked the Minister of Fuel and Power the figures of average weekly output of saleable coal for the 20 weeks ending 31st October, 1942, and for the corresponding period in 1941?

Mr. Smith

The average weekly output of saleable coal during the 20 weeks ended 31st October, 1942, was 3,901,000 tons, as compared with 3,996,000 tons during the corresponding period of 1941.
