HC Deb 10 November 1942 vol 383 c2312W
Mr. Lennox-Boyd

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether officers and other ranks serving in L.C.F.'s are given the same privileges in regard to duty-free cigarettes and liquor and hard-lying money as those serving in other sea-going ships?

Mr. Alexander

When the necessary conditions, e.g., as to sea-service, are fulfilled, naval personnel serving in these ships are eligible for duty-free privileges and hard-lying money in the same way as men in other vessels.
