Major Lloydasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of War Transport, whether he is aware of the dissatisfaction in the Newton Mearns district of Renfrewshire at the decision to substitute limited period tickets for yearly season tickets on the local omnibus service to Glasgow, which will result in a substantial net gain to the omnibus company in revenue per person per annum; and will he intervene to prevent this exploitation of local residents and war-workers who have no other means of travel and whose present facilities are unsatisfactory?
