HC Deb 10 November 1942 vol 383 cc2290-1W
Mr. David Adams

asked the Home Secretary whether he is aware that in an article published in "Review of World Affairs," dated 1st October, 1942, firm neutral government by the British occupying authorities in Abyssinia was advocated; and whether, in view of the recently signed agreement between the British Government and the Emperor of Ethiopia, he will take steps to prohibit further publications of this nature?

Mr. Peake

I have seen the article referred to. I am informed by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs that it does not represent the situation in Abyssinia and I do not think that the views expressed in this publication are such as to require any notice being taken of them.
