HC Deb 10 November 1942 vol 383 cc2286-7W
Mr. Parker

asked the Home Secretary what is the total number of persons who, having pleaded conscientious objection, have been fined or given terms of imprisonment by the various courts throughout the country for non-compliance with the Civil Defence orders?

Mr. H. Morrison

I regret that the information asked for is not available and in view of the pressure upon local authorities and their staffs I should not feel justified in asking for a special return.
