Mr. McNeil

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food what were the values, with or without duties, of the importations from Eire of poultry, rabbits, game, etc., at the present 10 distributing centres for the period 1st January to 31st December, 1938; what are the values of the allocations at present for any suitable period to the same 10 centres; and the values of allocations to Greenock for the same two periods?

Major Lloyd George

The particulars asked for in the first part of the Question are not available. As regards the second part of the Question the publication of information as to importations into the United Kingdom has, in the national interest, been suspended during the war, and the present values of imports of poultry, rabbits, game, etc., cannot therefore be disclosed.
