HC Deb 04 March 1942 vol 378 c665W
Sir W. Smithers

asked the Minister of Information why the "Never Again" Association was refused permission to broadcast; and will he arrange for a representative to broadcast as soon as possible?

Mr. Bracken

The B.B.C. informs me that a request for broadcasting time from this organisation in September, 1941, was refused because it is the Corporation's general policy not to provide a platform for any organisation which has been founded to support controversial views. I should not feel justified in asking the Governors to change this policy.
