Mr. H. Morrison

Mr. Robert Samuel Theodore Chorley was appointed Deputy Regional Commissioner for Civil Defence in the North-Western Region on 1st June, 1942. He is Professor of Commercial and Industrial Law in the University of London. He practised for ten years on the Northern circuit and is a justice of the peace and deputy chairman of the Westmorland Quarter Sessions. He was_ recently in charge of debris removal and salvage arrangements in the Ministry of Home Security.
