Miss Wardasked the Minister of Pensions whether he will arrange for the interim reports of the committee set up to make recommendations for the reorganisation of his Department to be placed in the Library of the House?
§ Sir W. WomersleyThe Committee was appointed by me to examine the organisation and procedure of the Ministry and to advise me whether it considered any changes in the administration to be desirable. It has submitted a number of interim reports which have contained much valuable advice and effect has been, or is being, given to a substantial proportion of their recommendations. I do not, however, regard it as necessary to place in the Library of the House copies of the reports it has made for my information.
