§ Mr. Goldieasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether, 47W with a view to the suppression of the offence commonly known as black marketing, he will cause the existing regulations to be amended so that courts of competent jurisdiction may impose a sentence of imprisonment, with or without hard labour, in substitution for, or in addition to a fine upon an individual, or in the case of a limited company upon the responsible officials, where such individual or company has been found guilty of a second or subsequent offence against the said regulations?
