HC Deb 17 December 1942 vol 385 c2104W
Colonel Carver

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he is aware that farmers doubt the possibility of harvesting the crops on the extra 1,000,000 acres to be ploughed up next year, in view of the shortage of labour; and whether he will make better arrangements than this year?

Mr. Hudson

I would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the reply which I have given to-day to a Question asked by my hon. Friend, the Member for Evesham (Mr. De la Bère).
