HC Deb 10 December 1942 vol 385 c1716W
Sir E. Graham-Little

asked the Minister of Supply whether he will investigate a case, details of which have been submitted to him, of a university graduate, taking honours in chemistry, 1940, whose special qualifications would seem to be wasted in his present position?

Sir A. Duncan

The officer referred to is being employed on work which requires considerable scientific experience. He was considered for promotion to higher duties last year but was not recommended. His case is being reviewed and I will let my hon. Friend know the result.
