§ Mr. BevinAccidents reported under the Factories Act were in the last three months of 1939, 465 fatal, 68,980 nonfatal; in 1940, 1,372 fatal, 230,607 nonfatal; in 1941, 1,646 fatal, 269,652 nonfatal; in 1942 (January to June), 699 fatal, 153,067 non-fatal. The figures for 1942 are provisional and subject to correction.
