§ Mr. R. Morganasked the Postmaster-General whether he will arrange for quicker air services between South Africa and East Africa, with a view to speeding up the air-mail service between this country and East Africa?
§ Mr. W. S. MorrisonAir mails from this country for East Africa are forwarded by sea to South Africa and thence by air. Practically the whole of the time taken is accounted for by the long sea journey, the time occupied in transmission by air from South Africa to East Africa being very short. I am examining with the other Departments concerned the possibilities of providing a faster service but the difficulties are considerable.
