Major Lloyd GeorgeMy Noble Friend has already taken steps to divert large quantities of barley to animal feeding-stuffs by restricting, under licence, the amount of cereals that may be purchased by brewers and maltsters. He does not consider that further action in this direction is called for at the moment.
