§ Mr. de Rothschildasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in view of the Select Committee's proposals on patent medicines and the approval given to them by the House in 1939 when deciding to repeal the patent medicine duties, he will give further consideration to the proposals for a revised method of taxation as suggested by the Proprietary Association of Patent Medicine Manufacturers itself?
