§ Mr. Bossomasked the Home Secretary whether the wireless sets now held in storage and which formerly belonged to interned enemy aliens, can be released to the Red Cross and St. John Ambulance for use in hospitals and convalescent homes, where they are needed, and which otherwise are practically unobtainable?
§ Mr. PeakeI am advised that any wireless sets which have; not already been disposed of under arrangements made by their owners remain in law the property of the aliens concerned and my right hon. Friend has no authority to dispose of them in the manner suggested.
