To judge by the number of complaints received, cases in which retailers have not yet been able to supply all their customers with their jam rations for May and June must be very few indeed, and the increase in price to the consumer under the new Order is too insignificant to justify the administrative cost and labour that would be necessary to give effect to my hon. Friend's proposal.
