§ Sir T. Mooreasked the Minister of Information whether he can make any statement as to the use made by foreign propaganda purposes hostile to this country of the meeting of the so-called People's Convention in London this month?
§ Mr. NicolsonWhile no reference was made to the Convention in German home programmes, it was mentioned in German broadcasts to England, in broadcasts from German-controlled stations in Denmark and Belgium, and in one broadcast from Rome. All these references laid more stress on the desire of the Convention to make peace than on its internal programme and indicated that, while the enemy are not altogether prepared to identify themselves with the objects of the Convention, they whole-heartedly approve of the way in which its members are at present acting.
