§ Mr. R. Gibsonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has any statement to make regarding the repatriation of British women from occupied France?
§ Mr. ButlerMy right hon. Friend has the greatest sympathy with the British women who are at present interned or detained in occupied France and has constantly in mind the possibility of arranging for their return to this country. The hon. Member will realise that, for transport and other reasons, the exchanges of British and German women present great difficulties at the present time.
