§ Major Milner
asked the Secretary for Mines whether he has considered the letter from the Executive Board of the Midland District, dated 18th January, again representing the serious situation arising in Yorkshire in regard to coal supplies due to shortage of wagons; what action he has taken thereon in view of the fact that representations on the matter have been made since October, 1939, without satisfactory result although approximately 24,000 wagons are surplus to requirements on the Great Western and Southern railways?
§ Mr. Grenfell
I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given by me to-day to my hon. Friend, the Member for Normanton (Mr. T. Smith).
