HC Deb 04 February 1941 vol 368 c811W
Colonel Carver

asked the Minister of Supply whether, in view of the prevalence of moles, he has considered using moleskins for service purposes?

Sir A. Duncan

I am advised that the quantity of moleskins available is negligible in relation to Service requirements and that the cost would be excessive. It would also be difficult to keep moleskins free from vermin under service conditions.
