HC Deb 04 February 1941 vol 368 c814W
Mr. Oliver

asked the Minister of Labour what is the number of full-time and part-time medical officers, respectively, employed by industrial concerns since the publication of the Factories (Medical and Welfare Services) Order, 1940?

Mr. Bevin

Complete statistics on this subject are not available. The Department has specific knowledge of 34 whole-time and 103 part-time appointments since July, when the Order was issued; the number of part-time appointments made or in course of being made is believed to be much greater.
