HC Deb 04 February 1941 vol 368 c818W
Mr. R. Morgan

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs whether His Majesty's Government in Australia have been kept fully informed of the dissatisfaction felt in this country with Japanese policy in relation to the Axis, with the object of avoiding public official statements which may conflict with such a point of view?

Mr. Shakespeare

It is the practice of His Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom to communicate fully with His Majesty's Government in Australia on all important questions of international concern. I can assure the hon. Member that there is no divergence between the two Governments with regard to this matter.
