Smedley have in stock some millions of tins of canned food-stuffs which they are not permitted to distribute, and that they will not prepare further quantities until those in stock have been distributed; and whether he will make arrangements to use the goods in store before those that have only recently come on to the market?

The reply to the second part is that the bulk of the goods to which reference was made are canned carrots, and it is not my noble Friend's intention that these should be put on the market while fresh carrots are in abundant supply.
