§ Captain MargessonSo far as I am aware, the only canteens for women serving under the control of the War Office are Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes or regimental canteens, which may be used by members of the Auxiliary Territorial Service. These canteens are subject to military regulations, one of which is that the sale of alcoholic beverages other than beer is, prohibited. The provisions of Defence Regulation 60AA do not apply to them.
