§ Sir H. Williamsasked the Minister of Health whether he can state the position in regard to surveyors' fees chargeable in respect of the erection of air-raid shelters in the county of London?
§ Mr. E. BrownI am informed that the London County Council has agreed to remit the fees normally chargeable in respect of the inspection by district surveyors or any air-raid shelter provided in connection with dwellinghouses or dwellings which is substantially of a type-recommended by His Majesty's Government. I understand that this concession will operate in relation to any such shelter the construction of which has commenced on or after 1st February, 1941.
