§ Mr. Haslamasked the Minister of Labour whether, in view of the importance of getting dead animals, killed either by accident or enemy action, removed from farms, and of the specialised nature of this occupation of slaughterer and fell-monger, he will consider making such occupation a protected one in cases where in rural areas there are only one of such men in this occupation?
§ Mr. AsshetonSlaughtermen and fell-mongers are reserved at 25: but applications are considered for the deferment of the calling-up of men below that age who are engaged on work of public importance and who cannot be replaced.
