§ Sir E. GriggArrangements have been made to provide the larger sizes to which my hon. Friend refers. Orders to that effect were given soon after the formation of the Home Guard and a greater proportion of the larger sizes is now being issued.

§ Sir E. GriggSteel helmets are being issued to the Home Guard as rapidly as supplies allow, and preference is given to those areas where the military need is greatest. My right hon. Friend fully appreciates the importance of this issue to many units of the Home Guard.
