§ Sir A. Baillieasked the Minister of Agriculture whether he is aware that, so far as Kent in concerned the Army command cannot spare soldiers to help to fill the craters on agricultural land; that six craters and more have occurred in a single field; and whether, in view of the cost of about £20 to fill each crater and the shortage of labour, he will arrange for a mechanised navvy to travel round the 1602W country and do what is necessary in the way of repairs?
