§ Mr. Lunnasked the Postmaster-General, in view of the fact that people are allowed to go about in this country in private motor vehicles with wireless sets, which may be used not only for reception but also for transmission, whether he will issue an order prohibiting their use in this way by all unauthorised private individuals?
§ Captain WaterhouseThe use for transmission purposes of a wireless set in a motor vehicle in this country by any person who does not hold a special wireless transmitting licence for this purpose is already prohibited under the Wireless Telegraphy Act, 1904. Such licences have been granted only in a few special cases where their issue was considered to be desirable in the national interest.
