HC Deb 21 March 1940 vol 358 c2147W
Mr. Levy

asked the Prime Minister what is the machinery for ensuring close and constant contact and consultation between the Imperial Government and the Dominion Governments; and whether he is satisfied that this machinery is sufficient and effective for all war purposes?

The Prime Minister

The closest contact is maintained both directly between Governments, through High Commissioners in London and in the Dominion capitals, and through an immense variety of technical and subordinate liaison arrangements covering every field of our relations. I am fully satisfied as to the effectiveness of this machinery.
