§ Mr. Gallacherasked the Minister of Labour whether he is aware that courts of referees are disallowing benefit to large numbers of married women although it is recognised by the courts that these women will continue to seek their livelihood by means of insurable employment, on the grounds that there is a prejudice against the employment of married women in the trades they follow; and will he take steps to ensure that married women normally engaged in insurable employment are not discriminated against in this way?
