§ Mr. Naylorasked the Minister of Health whether, in the event of further evacuation of children from London becoming necessary, it is his intention to abstain from sending them to villages near the East and South-East coast?
1377W
§ Mr. ElliotAs indicated in my reply to the hon. Member on 16th November it is not possible, having regard to the limitations of accommodation, to dispense with these districts for the reception of evacuated children, but all areas selected for reception are believed to offer a far greater degree of safety in the event of aerial attack than the areas from which children are to be transferred.
