BrownThe rates of pay of temporary clerks in the Employment Exchanges are those generally applicable to the Civil Service, except that they are more favourable in that increments can be granted after three years' service. The question whether general Service rates should be revised is not one for me but for my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
