§ Mr. Sloanasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he can give an assurance that the leper found amongst the prisoners taken from the "Altmark" has been properly segregated; and that no expense will be spared to secure proper treatment?
§ Captain McEwenI am informed that this patient was taken at once to hospital and properly isolated. The opinion of the experts who carried out a clinical examination and the standard tests is that he is suffering not from leprosy but from dermatitis. He is receiving all necessary treatment in hospital.
