asked whether in connection with the reply given by His Majesty's Government on February 21 last, the Government would say whether any Government Department, and if so which, has adopted the twenty-four-hour method.

THE LORD CHANCELLOR

The following Government Departments make use of the twenty-four-hour timing system for certain purposes, mainly connected with the Defence Forces or foreign communications: War Cabinet Offices, Admiralty, War Office, Air Ministry, Ministry of Aircraft Production, Home Office and Ministry of Home Security, Scottish Home Department, Mines Department, Petroleum Department, Post Office, Ministry of Information.
