§ Mr. R. Morganasked the Minister of Health whether, in connection with hospital arrangements for the civil population, he is aware of the financial difficulties in which certain London hospitals find themselves; that, among these hospitals, is the Golden Square Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital; and whether he will investigate this and all such cases with a view to keeping open the hospitals as long as possible in the interests of the community as a whole?
Mr. M. MacDonaldI have no general power to grant assistance to voluntary hospitals, but I am aware that the hospital referred to is experiencing special difficulties and I have already arranged for an investigation.
