§ Mr. Macleanasked the Under-Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs whether Lady Knollys, Lady Bailey, and Mrs. Percy Lawson Johnston, accompanied by their children, travelled to the United States of America under any official children's overseas reception scheme; and, if so, who was responsible for the granting of permits of those over 16 years of age?
§ Sir J. AndersonI have been asked to reply. Exit permits were granted in the ordinary course to the first two ladies mentioned to enable them to accompany their children, all of whom were under 16, overseas. The children of the third lady, all of whom were under 16, went with the other children but their mother did not accompany them.
