§ Captain Strickland
asked the Minister of Transport what steps he proposes to take to enable motorists, whose headlamps must not show a light above lamp-level, to observe readily on dark nights the roadside indicators of a restricted speed entry and exit?
§ Captain Wallace
I am not aware that any special difficulty has arisen by reason of the circumstances to which my hon. and gallant Friend refers. Generally the1166W built-up areas to which the speed restrictions apply can be recognised without difficulty apart from the roadside indicators. I shall, however, keep the matter under observation in consultation with my right hon. Friend the Minister for Home Security in order to meet, so far as possible, any difficulties that may occur at particular places.
