§ Mr. LloydMy hon. and gallant Friend will appreciate that besides the reduction in the number of private cars licensed (particulars of which are not yet available), there are many other factors to be taken into account. In view of the continued need for economy in the consumption of petrol, I cannot at present hold out the prospect of any material increase in the scale of rations.
