§ Captain WallaceSeason tickets are issued on conditions which free the companies from any liability in respect of a reduction in the frequency of services, and I am advised that it would not be feasible to grade the charges for such tickets according to the frequency of the services available.

Major Cazaletasked the Minister of Transport whether his attention has been called to the conditions prevailing in the cross-Channel journey between England and France; whether he is aware that on occasions people are left all night on boats with no mattresses, no blankets, or any other comforts; that they are not warned 785W as to the conditions; and will he take steps to remedy the situation?
