§ Mr. W. S. MorrisonThe total annual salary cost of directly appointed officials and employés of the Ministry stationed in Shropshire and employed in connection with the scheme of livestock and meat control is £4,340. In addition there are county and district chairmen of auctioneers and certifying officers who are part-time officials appointed by the Ministry but remunerated through the Livestock Auctioneers' Pool into which fees are paid in respect of actual work performed. There are also livestock graders paid on a fee basis in respect of actual gradings, and a county accountant also remunerated on a fee basis.
