Mrs. Adamsonasked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that parcels sent to members of the Forces, who have been removed from their units to hospitals and other places, are charged additional postage for delivery; and whether he will have this matter rectified?
§ Major TryonNo additional postage should be charged on parcels addressed to members of His Majesty's Forces in the United Kingdom who have been removed from their units to hospitals and other places. If the hon. Member will furnish me with particulars of any case in which a charge has been made, I shall be pleased to consider making a refund.
