§ Major TryonThe most recent congress of the Universal Postal Union was held at Buenos Aires from 1st April to 23rd May, 1939. The whole of the international postal services, including the detailed working arrangements, came under review. The discussions mainly affected the mutual relations of the postal administrations, and no decisions of outstanding importance to the general public were reached. The next congress is due to meet at Paris in 1944.
