§ Mr. Priceasked the Minister without Portfolio whether, in view of the surpluses of raw materials and products that are accumulating in the Colonial Empire in Africa and Asia, and which cannot at the moment find a market, he will consider their processing and storing in the Colonies, so that they may be ready when the time comes.
§ Mr. GreenwoodThe whole question of the disposal of surpluses of raw materials and products in the Colonial Empire and in other parts of the world is, as stated in my speech on 7th August, under consideration by a Sub-Committee of the Economic Policy Committee. Particular attention is being given to the possibilities of establishing storing and processing facilities.
